About the Test

The testing program I use was developed at The Rockport Institute. It is unlike traditional tests, which usually ask you to assess your own skills and interests. The Rockport Program measures innate ability – the abilities everyone was born with. You will learn more about your own inborn abilities and talents.

The testing will last approximately three hours. You can take the test in your own home or somewhere where you can ensure complete quietness. About two to three weeks later you will receive your results.

Once you have received your test results we will schedule a one-hour telephone conference. We will discuss your career questions and explain how your abilities and your personality fit together. We can then suggest specific careers that will make use of your strengths. If you are in a career already we will help you understand what is not working and why.

After we have described your innate abilities you may be able to understand why some of the jobs or tasks you had were enjoyable, while others had no redeeming value whatsoever. With this knowledge you'll find it much easier to find the perfect career.
