How the Service Works

Testing and Interpretation

Let's imagine you want to train to be a teacher. Teaching requires a high idea flow, a mind that has fast flowing ideas. Teaching is a job which offers a great variety of activities. Teachers have to constantly improvise. You can imagine improvisation would be catastrophic in a surgeon. For surgery, you need someone who can concentrate for a long time on one specific problem. To be a good teacher, you must have good problem-solving abilities and diagnostic reasoning. These talents enable you to jump to correct conclusions based on a few clues. A teacher needs to quickly figure out why a child/student does not understand a particular problem. Since teaching also requires a lot of paperwork, a prospective teacher would want to score high in the visual dexterity test, an ability which will help him or her to get through all the organizational tasks (such as paperwork) faster.

Once you send the test back to us, it will be scored within three business days. The package that is sent back to you will include your score sheet, some written description materials, and a 90-minute interpretation audio tape that explains each of the test results. It explains what it means if you score high, in the middle, or low in an ability. When you've had some time to think about your results and to listen to the tape, we will schedule a telephone conference, where we can discuss your questions and concerns. We will use our time together in the most productive way. I will show you how your abilities and personality fit together and suggest specific careers that will make use of your special talents.
